Synopsis

Dependent upon the contents and pressure of systems in industrial plants, leakage or failure of a bolted joint can lead to catastrophic consequences. To meet this challenge, every asset owner of pressurized system should have in place a management system to positively and actively manage the integrity of bolted joints.

This course is about bolted joints in a pressurized systems in industrial plants. Participants will learn the details of the critical elements of TFM.

Total Flange Management is the practice of designing, installing, inspecting and maintaining bolted joints to prevent the occurrence of leaks, which can lead to delayed production, unplanned shutdowns and process safety incidents.

Who should attend

Engineers involved in the design, construction, maintenance or inspection of pressurized equipment utilizing flanged joints for petroleum, refining, chemical, power and process industries.
