Workshop Content
The workshop covers each of the major stage (in sequential manner) in the creation of a sound and executable project plan of any type. It dwells heavily on the management techniques and leadership issues that are key to project management success. Blended together as part of the workshop will be a mini workshop on effective meetings, the key to project monitoring plus an overview and appreciation of how to use a project management software tool (like Microsoft Projects) to communicate, improve task tracking accuracy and achieve overall project team productivity and quality of execution.
Who should attend
Any individual part of an organization (administrative or technical) either in a supervisory capacity or as individual staff contributor who has, as part of his/her job description, the task of managing or coordinating any project. Since the topics covered in this workshop will dwell on deep base knowledge and techniques, maximum impact on knowledge gained and momentum achieved can be appreciated by attendees from with experience level of 3 to 5 years.
Mode of Instruction
Lecture, discussion, interactive (team) work and exercises, team presentations with critique and analysis and direct consultation with the Facilitator (real life project management issues and problems).
Completion Criteria
Proposal – Certificate of Completion to be given by the facilitator to each attendee who will meet attendance requirement + Pass written exam test (at least 3 exams).
Note: Final Criteria for Certificate of completion could be reviewed, adjusted and agreed upon between the Organizer and the course facilitator.

Cesar L. Quiason
Cesar Quiason is among the country’s pioneering engineers in the field of high technology semiconductor & electronics assembly & test manufacturing operations and product/process development.
He spent a total of 28 years in Intel Corporation, here and abroad, serving in various technical and managerial capacities in Process Engineering, Quality & Reliability, Product Engineering and Technology Development, until his retirement from the company in April 2004. His biggest career job assignment and also the most significant in terms of magnitude, complexity and personal career accomplishment was his Project Start Up and role as the first General Manager for Intel Corporation’s (“Greenfield”) factory installation in San Jose, Costa Rica from 1997-1999. Prior to this assignment, he was also responsible in leading the successful manufacturing operations startups of the Flash Memory product Line and the Microprocessor (Pentium ® series) Product Lines for Intel in the Philippines between 1990 and 1995
He recently headed and completed a project feasibility/market development study and Business Development Initiative Plan with an Australian based company, Waste To Energy (Asia Pacific) Pty, Ltd.
Cesar Quiason was a charter member of the ASEMEP (Association of Semiconductor and Electronics Mfg. Engineers in the Philippines) being elected as it’s first President in 1990. In 1991, he completed (with honors) the 35th Management Development Program at the Asian Institute of Management and graduated Electrical Engineering at Adamson University.
