Objectives

The De La Salle University-Dasmariñas – College of Business Administration and Accountancy (CBAA) seeks to produce socially- aware and competent business professionals and entrepreneurs in the country and global arena. The college promotes adherence to high business moral standards and commitment to community development in all its departments: accountancy, allied business, business management, and marketing. Guided by the Lasallian ideals of faith, zeal, and communication, CBAA provides the students with academic training expertise to cope with the fast-paced industry. It also seeks to develop the students’ technical and managerial skills necessary for effective performance in business, government, industry, and education.

Graduate Studies Philosophy

The De La Salle University – Dasmariñas CBAA Graduate Studies (CBAAGS) educates and prepares men and women to lead, build and manage enterprise that create value for their constituencies. Emphasis is on the interdisciplinary and cross-cultural knowledge of management principles and practices as well as familiarity with the global marketplace.

Due to rapid changes taking place in the business environment, CBAAGS offers program that will equip aspring managers and entrepreneurs with abilities, critical thinking skills, and knowledge needed to confront the challenges of a dynamic business and economic environments. The CBAAGS also strives to instill in its students an awareness of and sensitivity to issues of ethics, integrity and concern for society and the environment of business theories through engaging in research endeavors.

Graduate Studies Objectives

CBAAGS is one of the four Graduate Studies of DLSU Dasmariñas.

Guided by the Lasallian values, CBAAGS aims to further inculcate in the hearts and minds of the students the significance of graduate studies and the role of managers, business executives, and corporate leaders who have a strong faith in God thereby influencing business counterparts with faith, zeal and communion.

There are five main degree programs in CBAAGS:

  1. Diploma in Business Administration (DipBA)
  2. Masters in Business Administration (Regular MBA)
  3. Executive Masters in Business Administration (EMBA)
  4. Masters in Business Administration with Supply Chain Management (MBS)
  5. Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration (PhD in BA)

The four curricular programs in MBA, namely, Diploma in Buisness Administration, Regular MBA, MBA with Supply Chain Management and Executive MBA share the common goal of honing the managerial skills of corporate leaders and executives.

Schedule of Classes

The Graduate Studies program follows a three-term schedule per schoolyear as follows:

  • June to September (1st term)
  • October to January (2nd term)
  • February to May (3rd term)

Classes are held on Saturdays:
Modular Class: 8:00am-6:00pm
Regular Class: 8:00am-11:00am; 12:00nn-3:00pm; and 3:00pm-6:00pm

For Regular Class: Each subject is conducted for three hours per meeting for a total of 15 sessions per term. Regular students may enroll for a maximum of 9 units during the trimester.

For Modular Class: Classes will be conducted on a nine (9) hours in a total of five (5) weeks inclusive of one (1) online or bizchat class per module in one term. Delivery mode involves lectures, group discussions, case studies and presentations by students.
